Great success with bingo!
Over 65 people crowded into the Village Hall to play bingo on a cold winter’s night in November. For some players this was a first time experience and others were old hands at the game. By the end everyone agreed that it was great fun and should be repeated.
The evening raised £740, a brilliant achievement! This would not have been possible without the team who put the evening together. We would like to thank everyone who donated prizes including Brigette and Robin Buchanan from ODD Limited, Pebbly Hill Nurseries, The Kings Head, Marion Stow and several other villagers. We still have some prizes, which will be carried over to the quiz on 10 December.
And from Vicky Algar “ a great big THANK YOU to you lovely lot, for coming and supporting us and making the evening a sell out success!”
